Another day at sea today. Went to the top deck to walk but only got a few laps in before needing to go to gym due to rain. Attending my first meeting in a long time the consecutive cruisers meeting but luckily I wasn’t responsible to track action items or follow ups so it felt good. Joined the Captain’s corner and learned a bunch of stuff about the ship. Captain Henrik sounds like a good leader who coaches and cares about his people. Finished the last day of progressive trivia but we didn’t win to get the keychain. Oh well. It was funny playing and meeting new people. Had a simple pizza lunch in Sorrento’s – our first time having. pizza onboard. It was good but nothing like NJ pizza.
After lunch we finally saw land – the Napali Coast. We sat on our balcony and drank some wine enjoying the beautiful lush island before crashing for a wine induced nap.
We went to the lounge to chat with our friends, Tony & Wendy. Then we had dinner at Jamie’s and enjoyed the Live, Love, Legs snd Star & Stripes charade show before calling it a night. Maui tomorrow where we can put our feet on land. Aloha!
