I am writing about yesterday and we are already on the road headed north to Orlando after a short stay at Palm Beach Shores. Because we booked so late the accommodations were limited so we had to check out of the apartment and decided to head north so we are part way to see Stephen tomorrow. We really enjoyed Palm Beach Shores and are considering buying a small condo so we can go somewhere warm in January and February. We will see if something reasonable comes on the market in the next few years. We do not like the cold we’ve decided but really enjoy Myrtle so just might need a getaway. It’s cheaper than my idea of spending winters in St Kitts (a girl has to dream!).
We had a low key day because it was a bit cool so we watched a bit of Ozarks until the sun came out. We headed down to the beach in our shorts & sweatshirts to enjoy the crashing waves a bit. It’s always good to stick your toes in the sand – very therapeutic.

We got a bit cool so decided to venture out for a nice walk on the great paths in the town. The paths as well as the beach access and little town within walking distance are certainly some of the things we like about Palm Beach Shores.
We walked down to the inlet and watched the boats a bit.
We went to the Yardhouse for dinner to meet Alex’s golf friend, Chris. Watched the two playoff games – Bucs vs Rams – too bad for Brady. Then the fantastic Bills vs Chiefs playoff game. I thought maybe the Bills could pull it out so all the underdogs won but KC is too good. What a quarterback showdown – 4 scores in the last 2 minutes is nuts!
