We enjoyed our visit to Le Blanc with our good friends- Laurie & Mike and Marie & Scott. Marie & Scott are Diamond members of the resort so we were lucky to get some of their benefits as their guests. Le Blanc is a beautiful high end resort. It’s pricey but they sure make it worth it. Alex and I only booked 5 nights because believe it or not that is about our limit of continuous drinking at an all inclusive. I made up a new refreshing drink, mango vodka and Fresca – give it a try! . It’s not like we couldn’t sit by the pool or beach a few more days but our livers can’t take it 🤪😂
Our one minor complaint was that there were only 3 treadmills at the gym so they were impossible to get on. Alex took a walk on the beach one morning and got gorgeous sunrise photos so I guess there’s always a silver lining.
We had a private “Diamond” dinner one night which was amazing. They escorted us to a private terrace near the pool and brought us a several course dinner which was delicious. I
Alex golfed with Mike, Scott & Marie at Moon Palace. They saw lots of wildlife despite their struggling golf games. Only Marie came back happy about how she played. Alex says the coatis are like little thieves and will steal anything you leave unattended in your golf cart.
On Valentines night we went over to Sun Palace, another Palace Resort, to meet Marie’s son, Brandon, & his husband, Nathaniel.
Our last day by the pool they had a fantastic fish market with grilled fish, shrimp, tacos, salads. A nice yummy sendoff before heading to the airport
Our flight home was delayed a bit. We were supposed to leave at 5:20 but didn’t leave until about 7:30 so sat in the airport for several hours because our car dropped us at 2 ugh. We didn’t get back to the house in Lincoln Park till about 12:30 am so it was a long day.
We left NJ around 8:30 am after we had a few minutes with Lux when he got up. He is too funny and wouldn’t have his bottle with me sitting in Pop’s chair needed me to clear off my chair.
I’m typing as we’re driving home. We should be gone around 7 pm or so. Another long day of travel but worth it. Luckily we didn’t hit any traffic around DC but hit a rain storm – guess you can’t get through DC without something. We grabbed a bite to eat at Sheetz for lunch and now will only need another bathroom stop before we’re back at Tidewater to sleep in our own bed tonight. Yeah!
We’re home about a week and a half before we head back to NJ for Lux’s birthday. Not sure at the moment what our next trip will be. We have a few family birthday trips and a trip to Alex’s mom to redo her bathroom in the next few months. Until next trip..,
