The trip from Richmond to NJ was very familiar to us as we do it often. We traveled about 350 miles through 4 more states – DC, MD, DE and NJ – all of which we’ve been to many times. I did good with my signs but we started a new approach where I take a video then Alex grabs a good screenshot because my photo skills are not very good. 😂
Our stop in NJ didn’t feel like vacation but rather family time with the kids. We are so blessed with 6 grands and got to see all of them before we started on our real trek across the US. We did some of our favorite things while in NJ. Alex golfed with his friends in Wayne, Lux and I went to church, we went for pizza and to the diner for breakfast. I enjoyed snuggles with Adrianna who is getting so big too quick.
We even got a chance to have lunch with Brady
And last week I got to see the Fiore kids in Florida let’s not forget them.
Now that we’ve completed the tour visiting all the grands we’re ready to head west. I can’t help but hear the song America the Beautiful play in my head. Today we have a short drive to Lancaster (if you’re paying attention you will realize our itinerary already changed as we first thought we’d go to State College). Until tomorrow….
