I’m not very good at goodbyes whether it be a person or city. I realized today I may never come here again so tried to soak up all I can. I know I’m very blessed to have experienced many cities around the world but this was a great trip with my best friend and hubby. The day started slow with some laundry at the hotel. Hey it was free and it’s my therapy so needed it today.
We ventured out to see the Giants for Monday night football (on Tuesday at noon) but only stayed till halftime because it was too depressing,
We walked over to Myers to see the Christmas displays. It wasn’t as crowded as the weekend.
We planned to go to trivia tonight by the university but after our 15 minute walk we learned there was no trivia since university isn’t in session. It was a nice walk and we got our 12,000 steps so all good .
Rather than trivia we went to a fantastic Italian dinner at a great local place on the way back. Thanks Google. We even told the girl at the hotel so she can recommend.
We stopped at Drunken Poet’s for a few beers before heading back to the hotel. Heck this was the first place we went in Melbourne
Yes I’m a bit of a mush. I love to travel and am looking forward to get home to see family and friend# but goodbyes are hard. Our flight tomorrow is at 10 pm so we plan to okay golf because the weather will be the best since we got to Melbourne . We went today and bought gol& gloves, tees and balls and will rent clubs. I’m sure I’ll play terrible but who cares. It will tire me out for the 24 hours of flights.

We have loved reading about your adventures, it appears that you had a great time.
I did try and send an email a couple of weeks ago, not sure if you received it or not, it was mentioning the town of Eden, is this a place you visited?
Benn has loved following your adventures also.
Will you be posting about your cruise in January? If so, we can’t wait to ‘tag’ along.
