Our flights were uneventful to get to Fort Lauderdale. One drawback of living in Myrtle is that the flights are limited especially with Covid and many trips require a connection. We flew from Myrtle with a connection in Atlanta to get to Florida but all was good – no delays or hiccups. I found Delta’s push communications very helpful as they told you when your bags were on board and even sent a welcome message when landing to remind us we were a few minutes early. Lol. They focused on on-time in their messaging.
We arrived around dinner time at the Riverside Hotel on Los Olas which is one of our favorites. We met Patty & Tony and Dee & John for a drink while they were finishing their dinner. We love staying here because there’s lots of shops, a nice walking path along the intercoastal, restaurants and good people watching out on the sidewalks as you grab a drink or meal.

We grabbed a simple dinner at Big City Tavern across the street before a nightcap in the lobby bar where we ran into another couple cruising with us, Paula & Charlie, who we met online and are sharing an internet package with. I almost forgot to pickup the Amazon package I had sent to the hotel. Last minute I couldn’t find our voltage converter so had to get a new one so we don’t fry the Water Pik.
Good night all. Gotta get some rest so we can board Wonder tomorrow. Until then……
