We’ve reached the halfway mark on another TGIF sea day. Thanks for all who are following along and sending comments. We wish you all were with us but glad we can share pictures and stories so you can enjoy this beautiful part of the world virtually. We are so blessed. Not sure I will be able to walk on land again and certainly have learned that Alex and I can survive in small living quarters comfortably – maybe a tiny house isn’t out of the question. Lol. Today was a quiet chillaxin day. Trivia in the morning and collected our passports but disappointed they didn’t stamp them in a French Polynesia. Afternoon at the pool but it was a bit chilly so after the Caribbean band stopped playing we went to the indoor pool and hot tub.
A new challenge today went to the spa to get an appointment for my nails but they don’t have gel to do my nails. Ugh. They suggested I try to find a place in Wellington. This ought to be interesting. Went to the lounge and had a bit of a funny story. We met a whole new bunch of Aussies tonight. We were chatting and I looked at my watch it was 7:50. The lounge closes at 8 so I jumped up and went to the bar for my 2 glasses of wine to take to dinner and 2 beers for Alex. I came back and said let’s go. We ate in WJ because I wanted to go to the show. We get outside and Alex says why are we leaving so early it’s only 7 pm. I didn’t sync my Fitbit to update the time because internet was so bad all day. Anyhow, back into the lounge we went. TGIF.
We went to the show but it was awful – a circus, physical comedy act but they weren’t funny. Entertainment has been a disappointment but oh well. We went to the music hall for a game show like a Wheel of Fortune that was also awful so just went to bed. Seems internet may be improving as we get closer to New Zealand. Yeah!
