We like the little expensive breakfast place at Park MGM called The Primrose. Last night when we left the casino table I said to the girl next to me that win makes me ok with paying $30 for my omelet tomorrow. Well our trip to Primrose was not so good. It’s a cute place but our food was stone cold and my omelette with broccolini was awful. We expect more when you pay $70 for breakfast. We had some food credit but today was an expensive food day.

After we had breakfast we went upstairs and changed into our bathing suits. We wanted to get to the pool early so we could find a good chair. We were there about 9:15 and there was plenty of selection. We hit the weather fantastic as it was about 90 degrees – hot, hot, hot.

We enjoyed relaxing at the pool and of course got a bucket of beers and lunch. The lunch and beers were pricey but we enjoyed a nice day with our liquid aloha

We had dinner tonight in LaLaNoodle at Park MGM. It was another pricey mediocre meal.

Overall we had a good trip to Vegas and Zion. Our gambling pretty much broke even thanks to more big envy hands than we normally have. We counted up that we each had 2 straight flushes and I also had 2 four of a kind. That allowed us to play for 3 days and come home with the money we brought. We know this doesn’t always happen but it is nice when it does.

We stopped at a favorite of ours, Black Bear Diner, for breakfast on the way to the airport. It’s an inexpensive but good breakfast. This is the place where I bought my claw last time that helps me get the mail out of the mailbox. I love this thing!

Vegas airport is a pain in the butt. You take a shuttle from the rental car, several escalators, a tram and lots of walking to get to your gate. It was pretty seamless this time and we liked that they had free baggage concierge service at the rental car building for your checked bag. One less thing to deal with! Our plane is here so we expect to be on time for arrival at 8 pm in JFK. Looking forward to my nephew’s wedding tomorrow.
