Here we go again! Normally we don’t do this many cruises in such a short time but lots of our friends were going on Odyssey out of Cape Liberty, Bayonne, NJ so of course we needed to join. This is our 33rd cruise (29 on Royal). Since I’m a numbers geek I needed check my spreadsheet for some stats.

Odyssey is a Quantum class ship and we’ve done 87 nights on this type of ship so know the layout pretty well. There are a few small differences across the class but they are pretty similar. We cruised on Ovation for 29 nights on our Transpacific so the nights added up quickly.

Cruising out of Bayonne is always a treat because you get the best views of the NYC skyline and the Statue of Liberty.

We have cruised 12 times out of Cape Liberty but going under the Verrazano never gets old. We love to be outside on the top deck forward as we pass under. We left port a little late due to a medical emergency so got some early sunset photos too

We broke our “dry February” by splitting a Fosters for our first drink onboard. Many of you know we had a wet January with 2 cruises and the Formy Open so went “cart path only” to dry out for February (rather than going to Betty Ford!) but it’s March 1 now!

We met some friends for Sailaway in 270 a great venue in the afternoon of the ship.

Our dinner was in the main dining room. I didn’t do well with pics but here’s a few.

This is a 14 day cruise heading down to the Caribbean. We have 3 days at sea before we get to St. Martin on Thursday. After St Martin we have 6 more consecutive port days in Antigua, Martinique, Barbados, St. Lucia, St Kitts and San Juan before heading back to NJ. The first few days will be cool so no pool days but looking forward to some sun soon.
Until then…..
