October 3, 2022 – Day at Sea

Written by Kim

We started our day with coffee delivered to the room and breakfast at Coastal Kitchen. We were happy to be able to go to CK which wasn’t very crowded after we walked past the Windjammer to see a line wrapped almost out the opposite side of the ship. Breakfast was simple, hot and relaxing with a beautiful view of the sea. Unfortunately it was rainy, windy and cool so we looked for some indoor activities.

Trivia and bloody Mary’s

What could be better than some trivia and bloody Mary’s at the Schooner bar! We played general trivia and 3 bond which is a game where they give you 3 words and you have to know the connections. We didn’t win the industrial highlighter that clips on your trousers. Oh well! Leticia, our genie, came to check on us at Schooner and remind us of lunch at Izumi where she met us to check in again. She’s amazing!

After lunch we took a stroll on the pool deck and landed at the Solarium bar where we had some cocktails and caught up with the end of a bar crawl for some shots.

Lifeguards in their coats – it’s only 70 degrees. Lol!

After a few drinks we made our way back to the cabin to see what snacks and drinks Leticia had delivered. We had a fun time watching rehearsal for the Aqua show from our balcony

Dinner was at 150 Central Park. We enjoyed our Cucumber martinis with our dinner. After dinner we went to the headliner show. Leticia met us at the theater and escorted us to our front row seats and had a server waiting to get us cocktails. It is very nice but makes me a little uncomfortable. Not used to it. Bryan Chatham was an excellent singer. We really enjoyed the show.

Good night from our seagull that Katrina our room steward made us. Katrina is so sweet.
