Most of you probably know that Nassau is not my favorite port because it’s where my dad had the boating accident that killed him. This was the first time I’ve been here with my mom so was especially difficult. We planned to just stay on the ship and enjoy the day.
It was a nice hot day so we thought bloody Mary’s in the Solarium hot tub after breakfast on our balcony. We just relaxed until lunch. We ate for the first time this cruise in the Windjammer for lunch. It wasn’t too busy but was still annoying. The design of the buffet on this ship is awful. They made such a big improvement on Wonder which is the same class ship.
After lunch we spent some time at the suite deck where Dana poured us cocktails. She challenged my mom to drink the whole bottle of wine she opened for her. I told Dana that’s not really a challenge for mom that’s a normal accomplishment.
Dinner was at Chops. No one had steak even though it’s a steak house. We had shrimp & barramundi. The fish was very good.
We watched the Aqua Show again from our balcony before I went to The 70s and Alex “worked” trying to win again in the casino.
