We had a great first day in Palm Springs. We started with breakfast at a great place called Goody’s. Not a fancy place but delicious breakfast
We spent part of the day at the pool which was gorgeous. It was around 100 degrees but it didn’t feel that hot. The pool was a bit cool but very refreshing. They must use a chiller to keep the water cool.
We came to Palm Springs for Rudie’s weekend which is a fan club of people who follow Brian Christopher, a You Tube slot player. There are about 150 followers here. Alex follows him and we’ve been to a few events so it’s fun to catch up with people we’ve met at previous gatherings. The welcome reception was in their show venue. Brian did a live stream slot pull that they broadcast on a big screen. He hit a big bonus for over $8,000 which was fun to watch. We enjoyed open bar and dinner. After the party we played a little pai gow and gave back some of Alex’s winning from last night but it was house money and we’re still up (for now).
