We left Boise about 8 am to take our 5 hour drive to Salt Lake City. It wasn’t a very exciting day today just a drive. Did I tell you I really like Love’s. It’s like Wawa with some healthy snacks like fruit, cheese and hard boiled eggs that are really fresh. We found a new app today that tells you what you can find at exits on the interstate. We can check upcoming gas prices, food and restrooms. It’s really nice.
Another day on the road means another picnic lunch. He loves my cooking don’t let his face tell you otherwise. Luckily we got there before the bus with the football team.
The drive was lots of sagebrush in the desert and tater fields.
We checked int9 our hotel and rested a bit before heading out to dinner. I was laughing because the first 2 TV commercials were – missionary suit starter sets & a hunting commercial suggesting you buy their gear to bring home fresh meat for dinner. We’re not in SC anymore. lol. We ate at The Bayou for dinner. It was excellent.
We had a nightcap at the bar. I haven’t had a Duvel since last year in Belgium so I was thrilled. Alex had some Eagle Rare.
Tomorrow we will tour Salt Lake City….until then…
