Many of you know that I’m typically a last minute packer but felt for this long a trip I should think ahead so I’ve been putting things out on the spare room bed for a week or so. Yesterday I decided to pull out my packing cubes and get started packing. Well I’ve packed and repacked several times already and Alex hasn’t weighed the bags yet. I got everything in but think my bags are overweight so will be back at it a bit today. I seem to be taking a few things out then adding something else. Ugh! Where’s my Nan she always was a master at packing. Will post a picture of my 2 bags once I am satisfied with my outcome.

Looks like your all packed and ready to roll! So excited for both of you! This is going to be an amazing trip! Have a safe flight and a fantastic cruise!!! Can’t wait to follow along.
Thanks Patty!
You did great! I packed and repacked twice today. Seems a sweater and jean is about two pounds :(. Turned it in for two dresses.
Have fun!!!
Very exciting ! Can’t wait to see your great pictures and hear about you fun adventures. 🤠
I wanted to tell you about two places in Wellington – if you’re looking for a special occasion dinner – we enjoyed Logan Brown which came highly recommended by a friend who lived there.

The other is a fun casual place to get some breakfast or lunch is Joe’s Garage. It’s near Te Papa if you go.

Will keep a watchful eye on the house! Enjoy!
Thanks Amy.

And when you’re in Cairns, you really should try Ochre for particularly native Australian foods – kangaroo, emu, wattleseed flavored items, etc. For dessert, try the Wattleseed Pavlova
