Day 2 – Vancouver exploring the city (9/18/19)

Lots of walking to explore Vancouver today clocked in 22,900 steps – our feet are screaming a bit. Tomorrow may skip the treadmill and just enjoy city walking. Started our day on a harbor cruise. It was a gorgeous day to be out on the water.

The Constituition paddle boat cruise
A beautiful yacht
Lots of seaplanes that shorten the 4 hour drive to Victoria to less than an hour.

After a nice lunch on the harbor we did a walking tour of downtown. We love the free European walking tours. Our guide, Marla, was fantastic. We learned about the Spanish and British influences. My favorites were the oldest church which was gorgeous and the Marine building.

These dogs are employees of the dog friendly Fairmont hotel. Guests can take them for a walk or buy them something from the doggy room service menu.

We ended the tour at Canada Park where we saw the Olympic torch.

We finished the night with a fantastic dinner at The Boulevard in the Sutton Hotel. A few food picture for you foodies out there.

Good night all need some rest!
