After a simple breakfast and brief walk to say goodbye to Prague we headed to the train station for our four hour train to Vienna. We forgot we needed coins to use the restroom so left all our remaining koruna for the hotel maid so Alex had to go to the ATM so we could go to the bathroom. We later found out you could use a credit card for the 20 koruna ($0.044) entry cost.
We have an Air Bnb in Vienna. What a place. It’s the second home of a psychologist in the city. It was a bit of an adventure finding it. The Uber driver made a wrong turn but finally got us here. The instruction to get the key were unclear. What an old apartment building. There was an elevator but it stops halfway between 2 floors where apartments are so you have to hump your luggage 1/2 flight on each floor. Lol.
The apartment is huge. A foyer, big living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, bath & toilet closet. The ceilings are about 12 feet with crystal chandeliers in each room.
After getting settled we ventured out for some dinner. The apartment is in a trendy area with lots of restaurants. I’ll post pictures in my next post. We were hungry! Dinner was at Boxwoods – it was delicious.
That’s it for tonight. P.s, I added a bit to yesterdays Prague post too. Until next post…..
